Le ministre des Affaires Etrangères, de la Coopération Africaine et des Marocains Résidant à l’Etranger, M. Nasser Bourita, a reçu, ce vendredi 05 novembre à Rabat, le ministre des Affaires Étrangères, de la Coopération, de la Francophonie, de l’Intégration Régionale et des Gabonais de l’Étranger, M. Pacôme Moubelet-Boubeya.
Cet entretien s’inscrit dans le cadre des relations de fraternité historiques liant le Royaume du Maroc et la République Gabonaise conformément à la volonté des deux Chefs d’Etat, Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI et Son Frère le Président Ali Bongo Ondimba, qui effectue une visite de travail et d’amitié au Maroc.
Au cours de cet entretien, les deux ministres ont examiné les moyens de consolider davantage les relations bilatérales notamment à travers l’organisation prochaine d’une grande commission mixte et le renforcement de l’axe économique et commercial entre le Maroc et le Gabon qui se positionnent comme acteurs clés en matière d’intégration régionale en Afrique.
Dans ce sens, M. Moubelet-Boubeya a exprimé le souhait de voir s’impliquer davantage le secteur privé marocain dans l’économie gabonaise afin de partager son expertise avec les opérateurs locaux.
Sur les plans régional et international, les deux responsables se sont félicités de la convergence de points de vue, notamment sur les questions de paix et sécurité qui menacent la stabilité du continent africain.
Réaffirmant l’indéfectible soutien du Gabon à la marocanité du Sahara, le ministre des Affaires Etrangères gabonais a réitéré la volonté de son pays de renforcer sa présence dans les provinces du Sud, tout en exprimant sa gratitude au Royaume pour le soutien apporté lors de l’organisation de la Journée culturelle du Gabon à Laâyoune.
A l’instar de cette manifestation qui a connu, d’après M. Moubelet-Boubeya, un grand succès, le Gabon compte organiser d’autres événements dans les provinces du Sud marocaines.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita received on November 05, 2021, in Rabat the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, Francophonie, Regional Integration and Gabonese Abroad, Mr. Pacôme Moubelet-Boubeya.
This meeting is part of the historical fraternity relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Gabonese Republic in line with the will of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Brother, President Ali Bongo Ondimba, who is in a working and friendly visit to Morocco.
During this meeting, the two ministers examined means to further consolidate bilateral relations, in particular through the forthcoming organization of a joint commission and the strengthening of the economic and commercial cooperation between Morocco and Gabon which are key players in the regional integration in Africa.
Mr. Moubelet-Boubeya expressed the wish to see the Moroccan private sector become more involved in the Gabonese economy in order to share its expertise with local operators.
At the regional and international levels, the two officials welcomed the convergence of views, in particular on issues of peace and security which threaten the stability of the African continent.
Reaffirming Gabon’s unwavering support for the Moroccan Sahara, the Gabonese Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated his country’s desire to strengthen its presence in the southern provinces, while expressing his gratitude to the Kingdom for the support provided during the organization of the Gabonese Cultural Day in Laayoune.
Following the example of this event which was, according to Mr. Moubelet-Boubeya, a great success, Gabon intends to organize other events in the southern provinces of Morocco.
