ALGIERS- Algeria expressed its “categorical rejection of the unacceptable interference in its internal affairs,” following the unrefuted statements that several French sources attributed, by name, to the president of the French Republic, the presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
“Following the unrefuted statements that many French sources have attributed by name to the president of the French Republic, Algeria expresses its categorical rejection of the unacceptable interference in its internal affairs through these comments,” the presidency’s statement said.
“The remarks in question are an intolerable attack on the memory of the 5,630,000 valiant martyrs who sacrificed their lives in their heroic resistance to the French colonial invasion as well as in the glorious National Liberation Revolution,” the presidency of the Republic stressed.
“Colonial France’s crimes in Algeria are innumerable and meet the most demanding definitions of genocide against humanity. These crimes, which are not subject to the statute of limitations, cannot be subjected to manipulation of facts or mitigating interpretation.”
Algeria’s ambassador to France recalled for consultations
ALGIERS- Algeria’s ambassador to France, Mohamed-Antar Daoud, has been recalled for consultations, the presidency of the Republic said Saturday.

الجزائر – أعربت الجزائر عن “رفضها القاطع للتدخل غير المقبول في شؤونها الداخلية” ، إثر التصريحات التي لم تدحض والتي نسبتها عدة مصادر فرنسية ، بالاسم ، إلى رئيس الجمهورية الفرنسية ، حسبما ذكرت رئاسة الجمهورية في بيان.
وجاء في بيان الرئاسة “عقب التصريحات التي لم تدحض والتي نسبتها العديد من المصادر الفرنسية بالاسم لرئيس الجمهورية الفرنسية ، تعرب الجزائر عن رفضها القاطع للتدخل غير المقبول في شؤونها الداخلية من خلال هذه التعليقات”.
وشددت رئاسة الجمهورية على أن “التصريحات المذكورة هي هجوم لا يطاق على ذكرى 5630 ألف شهيد شجعان ضحوا بأرواحهم في مقاومتهم البطولية للغزو الاستعماري الفرنسي وكذلك في ثورة التحرير الوطني المجيدة”.
“جرائم فرنسا الاستعمارية في الجزائر لا تعد ولا تحصى وتتوافق مع أكثر التعريفات تطلبًا للإبادة الجماعية ضد الإنسانية. هذه الجرائم ، التي لا تخضع لقانون التقادم ، لا يمكن أن تخضع للتلاعب بالوقائع أو التفسيرات المخففة”.
ستدعى سفير الجزائر في فرنسا للتشاور
أعلنت رئاسة الجمهورية اليوم السبت ، استدعاء سفير الجزائر لدى فرنسا محمد عنتر داود للتشاور.
